Beautiful mountain air.
About a week ago I had the honor of capturing Brittany & Johnathon's wedding up in the mountains. It was a windy, but beautiful day. The sky was bright blue and the temperature just right. It was a wonderfully close-knit wedding held in their backyard (which overlooks a lake...so nice!). You might recognize Brittany and John from here a few months ago. From the first time I met them I knew they were going to be such a great couple to photograph. They have such a sweet love for each other. When I showed up the morning of, I asked Johnathon if he was nervous at all, and he replied saying he just wanted it to be time already. They were both so excited to husband and wife. They had each written their own vows, which were both so touching. I have to admit, I cried. I know, I know, I'm such a baby. But I love love, and loved seeing the two of them taking these beautiful steps into their new shared life. I loved watching the way they looked at each other. I loved seeing Brittany hold tight onto her vows until it was time. I loved watching their happiness beam off of their faces the entire day. And I especially love knowing that they are so made for each other. I am so grateful I got the chance to not only be their photographer on their special day, but to also share it with all of you. with love, Lauren
