Los Angeles Doula // Hallie's Birth Story

One thing that I can always count on, regardless of how many births I have attended, is that there is endless room to be surprised. Baby Hallie arrived within an hour of her parents being admitted to the hospital. You might think, that's not too shocking...mama must have been pretty far in her labor. Well, I'll have you know she was 5cm when she checked in (which is fantastic, to clarify)...and then delivered an hour later! 5cm to 10cm, just like that! How's that for a first time mama?! I was and still am so proud of her! So grateful I got to be there to support her as a doula <3
