Squishy little newborn, tiny toes, and snuggles. It's no wonder I look forward to newborn sessions. It's always so fun for me to see parents in that love-drunk phase, and even better if I can sneak in some newborn snuggles ;) One of the things I love about working with families throughout their pregnancy (maternity, birth, newborn), is the friendships I am able to build. When I showed up to this newborn session, I couldn't wait to see their newest addition and give them a congratulatory hug. Grace quickly warmed up to me, remembering our last session together, and was the best helper throughout the process. I gave her little tasks as I shot, unloaded and reloaded film. It got to the point where she would hear my film wind back up and she would go to grab another roll for me or a label. I think I need to hire her for all of my shoots! ;) I'm sad that this amazing family has since moved out of state (I'll miss them), but I'm happy that they are close to family as they raise their darling girls!
