Meet my sweet friend Crystal... // Los Angeles Portrait Photographer

You know that feeling when you hang out with someone for the first time, and you feel like you've known them for a lifetime? It may sound cliche, but that is how it was when I met Crystal at FIND 2.0 this past February. Maybe we're just kindred spirits....that or it's because we're both ENFJ's :)   (if you do not get what that means then you gotta go take a Myers Briggs test right now). Anyways, I got the to chance to see Crystal again on the complete opposite coast at Kristen Kalp's workshop, Steer Your Ship, in May. I should add that the workshop was full of AMAZING women and I am so utterly grateful I got the chance to get to know each of them so well over the course of a few days. A weekend full of inspiring talks and a great kick in the ass for myself and my business :) I remember being in a group conversation with Crystal back in February and she casually mentioned that when her daughter was an infant she couldn't walk for months and had to crawl around on her knees while carrying her baby in her arms. Mind you, she said this completely nonchalant (it made sense with what we were talking about) and she was all smiles about it. Something so many people (ahem...me) would complain about (ps. she's also had Malaria multiple times!). The whole group did a double take and I believe some mouths dropped...followed by a big 'what??' from me. Even through rough trials she's been her sweet self with a positive outlook. She has a beautiful heart and she gladly shares it with those around her. She carries a peace with her into each room she enters. She loves to help others and is so understanding. And I am SO grateful that our lives have crossed paths. Once the workshop was done, all of us ladies were hanging out and Crystal and I thought it would be fun to snap some pictures of each other around the beautiful property we were staying at.
