Santa Barbara // Los Angeles Film Photography

With eyes closed, as you take a few deep breaths, picture a place where you feel completely at home; where every part of your body relaxes and melts away. Your safe place. A place that allows you to be yourself in your most natural state. No expectations. No pressure. No worries. Just you in the place that breathes calm into your soul. For me, that is water. And while most often that means the beach, my safe place can be a river, a pond, a lake...heck even a pool. It's kind of ironic when I stop to think about it because I can immediately think of two times where I felt like I was drowning as a child (once in the deep-end of a pool and the other in the ocean). From those experiences alone I would think at the very least some fear of water would have come about, but for whatever reason it is quite the opposite for me. A little while back my buddy, Brian, and I went on a little photo adventure through Santa Barbara. Just looking at these pictures relaxes me...I hope they can brighten up your day a bit! hugs, Lauren Santa Barbara // Los Angeles film photographySanta Barbara // Los Angeles film photographySanta Barbara // Los Angeles film photographySanta Barbara // Los Angeles film photographyLos Angeles film photographySanta Barbara // Los Angeles film photographyLos Angeles film photographyLos Angeles film photographyLos Angeles film photographyLos Angeles film photographyLos Angeles film photographySanta Barbara // Los Angeles film photographySanta Barbara // Los Angeles film photography
