                                                   "While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about." - Angela Schwindt This quote rings so true to me as I look at these images. There is something about children in their own environment that speaks so much truth to the beauty of life. Their innocence, honesty,  spunk, laughter, cries, sass, imagination, creativity, love (and SO much more), shake up how we see things. Children always make sure to remind me that my own agenda is not the most important thing and that there is so much life to be lived outside of my little box of to-dos. I'm sure I speak for many of you when I say that it is difficult for me to slow down...to take a step back and be completely content with my life. I think this is the curse of being a dreamer. It's not so much a case of 'the grass is always greener' as it is me constantly one-upping my goals. While it's great to push myself and my goals...it prevents me from breathing in the life around me and truly enjoying when my goals are met. I am grateful that through my work I am reminded of the life I wish to live, and am given the opportunity to grow. These pictures were from two very ordinary days while visiting one of my sisters (and her kids), and yet they are filled with so much life. I hope that as you look through these images you are reminded to slow down a bit and re-evaluate that agenda of yours. :) hugs, Lauren
