What a date.
Today is 10-10-10. Interesting, huh? Well, there is a beautiful little boy that is possibly beginning his journey into this world as I type this, and if he makes it in time what an awesome birthday to have! I say possibly because any mom who reads this knows that just because you are having contractions doesn't necessarily mean the baby is coming right then :) It is this little boy that I will be photographing once it is time. It's tears of joy I will be capturing when his mommy sees him for the first time. It is a somewhat nerve racking feeling to sit here and wait for the go ahead to drive to the hospital now that we're in the final days/hours until his arrival. I felt that it would be fitting to make myself post some of the pictures I have from Kirstin's maternity sessions (since I'm so behind on blogs). And yes, that was session(s). We took a mini-session when she was about 26 weeks, then a final shoot about 2 weeks ago. I loved seeing her little belly get bigger! She is such a beautiful person inside and out, and is going to make a fabulous mom. I can't wait to capture the birth of her son, and to be able to meet the little guy :)
