Baltimore Newborn Photography // Baby Ian

"This is NOT public knowledge, but I'm expecting a baby, due in January." A huge smile swept over my face and all I could manage to say was "OMG!" I've said it before and I'll say it again, being in this line of work is the bees knees. Getting to be one of the first to know about a new baby is so exciting. Especially when it's a dear friend who's expecting!  I was thrilled to fly out to Baltimore to capture this sweet time for Jenika, and Danny. Ian is so stinking cute...and somehow keeps getting cuter with each passing day (thanks FB for letting me "see" him often)! Jenika is one of the smartest, and sweetest, people I know. I could chat with her about life for hours, and her talent with writing (and teaching how to write) is something I admire. While she certainly was meant to do what she does - watching her transition so well into motherhood I can't help but think this is the job she was always destined for.
