Cho Family // Brooklyn Family Photography

There must be a saying out there about boys and their trains. I remember the first time I did pictures for the Cho family, Jr came ready with his little backpack of goodies, and in that backpack were some of his trains. At one point we stopped to play with them a bit and, while I completely expected to see him pull out Thomas and some of his friends, he pulled out NYC subway trains! Fast forward a year, and he is just as in love with those trains as ever! As I watched him play with them on the floor of their home in Brooklyn, he would announce the stops for the specific subway line and even add "stand clear of the closing doors, please." Needless to say, I was highly impressed! You may have heard me say it before, but Minhee is the fabulous lady behind Paper + Cup Design! I had so much fun teaming up with her this year for holiday card designs. She has such beautiful work (and she offers quite a bit more than holiday cards - be sure to check her site out)! I loved being able to hangout with this family and wander around their stomping grounds in Dumbo (one of my favorite areas). Here's a little bit from our morning together...
